Welcome to the family:

At Head for the Heels, we believe training should be as fun and rewarding as the bond you share with your dog. Our mission is simple: to help dogs and their people thrive together in everyday life.
We use science backed, fear-free, reward-based methods that focus on building confidence, encouraging positive choices, and working with your dog's natural strengths. Whether it's mastering manners, tackling tricky behaviours, or creating more harmony at home, we make training practical, enjoyable and tailored to your life style.
Think of us as your partner in all things dog- celebrating your wins, guiding you through challenges and cheering you on every step of the way. with a little patience, a lot of positivity, and the right tools, you'll discover just how amazing your dog can be. Because when your dog succeeds, you both win and thats something worth going head over heels for.

Meet the Trainer

Elizabeth Bilous (BA, CPDT-KA, DCBC)

Hi, i'm Elizabeth - a certified professional dog trainer and owner of Head for the Heels. I have over 6 years of experience helping dogs and their humans live their best lives together. My love for fostering the human-canine bond started back in university, where I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and dove deep into studying the amazing bond between people and animals. I am a proud member of the Alberta Force Free Alliance, and believe in using positive science-based methods that build trust and confidence. I love working side-by-side owners, finding practical solutions, and celebrating every little win (because those moments matter!). For me, it's not just about teaching skills- it's about strengthening the relationship you share with your dog.
